Remembering When

When I recall the Lord’s gentle and merciful ways towards me, it reminds me that when I see others staggering and stumbling, to speak meekly and humbly to them. My my, you don’t know how a word spoken in season would have an affect upon them. That word especially spoken with tender concern can cause them to take a second look at what was said. For if in this life, I’m left to fend alone, for all comfort has departed and encouragement is gone, I could still achieve you see, but compassion and mercy would grant grace to me.

Eph. 4:30-32

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
